Sam Sam is a neighbourhood in the dormitory town of Pikine, the most populous town in Senegal. It is about 20 kilometres from Dakar, the capital.

Unemployment and illiteracy in Sam Sam are higher than the national average. There is hardly any health or education infrastructure, nor is there any interest in building it. Some 1,200 families live here.
