The initiation of carpentry and joinery training arose from the request of young people in the neighbourhood. Witnessing the transformation of girls into independent women, masters of their lives and community leaders after their training, these young people approached Regina expressing their desire for similar training as individuals and professionals.
The commencement of training became possible following the completion of the carpentry and joinery workshop construction.
